LIVE VIEW
With an active LTE subscription , you can access a live view of the dash cam at any time via the Garmin Drive app. Some vehicles may require a cable for permanent power.
VIEWING AND SHARING VIDEOS
Saved videos are stored securely in the online vault. These videos are accessed through the Garmin Drive app. With an LTE subscription or an active Wi-Fi connection, you can share video clips with others by sending them a link and passcode.
LOCATION DISPLAY
Check your vehicle’s location at any time in the Garmin Drive app. An active LTE subscription is required for this feature.
THEFT ALARM
If your vehicle moves without your smartphone in it, you will receive an alarm via the Garmin Drive app. An active LTE subscription is required for this function.
Parking Guard
When Garmin Dash Cam Live detects an incident at your parked vehicle, you will receive a notification in the Garmin Drive app. You will also see a video clip of the detected incident. An active LTE subscription is required for this feature.
ACCIDENT DETECTION
When an accident is detected, this camera automatically saves the video directly before, during and after the incident. This way, there is a complete record of the event, which also includes the GPS location, date and time.
LTE SUBSCRIPTION
Activate an LTE Vault subscription in the Garmin Drive app to enable location display, theft alarms and Parking Guard notifications. LTE connectivity offers more than just a Wi-Fi connection and enables access to live views – almost anywhere and at any time.
CLEAR HD VIDEO
1440p HD video, a wide-angle lens with a 140° viewing angle and Garmin Clarity ™ HDR optical technology ensure that this dash cam records clear video day and night. You can use the camera’s 3-inch (7.5 cm) LCD display to adjust the camera and change the settings.
AUTOMATIC RECORDING
Once the camera is connected to the vehicle’s power supply, it will record continuously. Just set it up and you’re done.

VOICE CONTROL
Keep both hands on the wheel and use voice commands to instruct the camera, save videos, start and stop audio recording, take photos and more. This feature is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Swedish.
COLLISION WARNING
To increase driving safety, you will receive alerts if you get too close to the car in front of you. The warning function may be limited under certain circumstances .
LANE KEEPING ASSIST
If you leave the road or cross road markings, you will be warned acoustically. Under certain circumstances, the warning function may be limited.
START ALARMS
This feature notifies you when stopped vehicles in front of you start moving again.
TRAFFIC LIGHT CAMERA AND RADAR CONTROLS
This camera keeps an eye out for you and warns you about red light cameras and speed cameras nearby (not available in all regions).
TRAVELAPSE ™ FUNCTION
Share your trip with friends using the Travelapse feature. Recordings lasting several hours are condensed into a few minutes with highlights. The result is an entertaining, creative video.

This DashCam is ready to use straight out of the box. A microSD ™ memory card is already included and does not need to be purchased separately.
cable for constant power supply
Certain vehicles require a constant power cable (sold separately) to provide constant power to your Garmin Dash Cam Live. Connect your dash cam to your vehicle’s OBD-II port to keep it powered even when the vehicle is parked and the engine is off.
DASHCAM VIDEO SYNCHRONIZATION
The Garmin Drive app allows you to control and play back synchronized video recordings from up to four dash cams (sold separately) mounted in the vehicle. This allows you to record videos from different angles.
ADDITIONAL USB PORT
You don’t have to decide whether you want to power the dash cam or your smartphone. The included charger has an additional USB port so you can charge both devices.
BUILT TO BE DURABLE
When developing this DashCam, care was taken to ensure that it can withstand the harsh conditions in the vehicle, such as direct sunlight and high temperatures in the interior.
